Loyal Love's Embrace

Written: March 21, 2025, for contest Sponsored by: Mystic Rose Rose ***************** In the heart's quiet nook, a steadfast light glows, An unyielding beacon through the tempestuous night, More precious than gold, more enduring than diamond, It is the silent promise that whispers rest sealed. Through torrents of sorrow, it remains unmoved, A rock in the storm—unyielding, steady, Bound by invisible threads stronger than steel, This is what I call a loyal love poem. Its roots probe into the velvety soil of the soul, Finding strength from invisible lakes of loyalty A tree towering among the whirl of daily life. More profound than seas, beyond mountains, and still as delicate on petals as morning dew Loyalty surrounds us like an endless grasp.

Only in a virtuous and feeling heart, a steadfast love will glow. This love will act as a beacon even in a tempestuous night. Love is something that binds two hearts with threads stronger than steel. It is a constant presence through the ups and downs of life. It digs deep into the velvety soil of the soul and towers over the whirl of life. You have pictured true love as indefatigable surviving every obstacle and setback. Lovely poem, dear friend Lasaad. All the Best!

I read the comments Lasaad and the one that I thought reflected the way I felt as I read this timeless piece of yours was Silent One's thoughts. I think he wrote what most us wanted to reflect on when reading this masterful write. This one Lasaad is a favorite for the genius way you wrote it and thought it out. How clever are you my friend? I am shocked this did not receive POTD it should have... God bless you my friend...

I don't recall ever crossing paths with your poems before, and that's something I must remedy because this is an outstanding, poetic, delight of a write. Other than wanting a s at the end of diamond, I was completely, poetically sated. I WILL read more from you ... CayCay

Hey Sotto, your poem presents loyalty as a powerful, life-sustaining force that transcends material wealth or physical beauty. It suggests that the truest form of love is loyal, patient, and ever-present, akin to a quiet, unbreakable force that holds steady through life's turmoil. The imagery of nature (light, trees, petals) connects this quality of loyalty to something timeless and universal, emphasizing its importance as a foundational aspect of human connection and emotional resilience.
