Love To the Extreme

Love to me is not just a word, Not fleeting whispers barely heard. It’s not soft petals or sunshine's kiss, It’s chaos, its fire, it’s raw, pure bliss. A force untamed, both wild and true, The marrow of my soul, reaching for you. When you falter, I’ll steady your stride, A lighthouse flare as the storms collides. In the tempest’s wake, when shadows creep, I’ll anchor you safely in the oceans deep. No wrong, no right, just a vow to keep, For love to the extreme run's soul deep. If you reach for me, I’ll hold your hand, Through trembling seas, across sinking sand. And if you’re lost in despair’s vast sea, I’ll dive to the depths—you have all of me. Through jagged waves, I will pull you tight, A shield from the currents that spark your fear. For love like this does more than dream, It binds; it bleeds—it burns supreme. And if aliens rained from the starry expanse, With lasers and probes in a deadly dance, I’d stand and fight, no matter the foe, Their cosmic wrath I’d overthrow. Should zombie hordes claw through the night, In a world gone cold, a forsaken fight, Know this truth, strange but true— I’d give my life to protect you. If the hunger was yours, too much to bear, I’d bare my neck, my soul laid bare. For love extreme is beyond the skin, It’s losing to win—it burns within. And should the world crumble to its decay, If the end came faster than words could say, I’d face the void, the chaos, the fall, To keep you safe when darkness calls. When eternity tolls and our time is done, And you’ve walked a path where not light has seeped in, I won’t run I’d stand before the angels, my soul in my hand makes this plea: ‘Take me instead, set my love free.’ To love to the extreme is to burn without end, To crack, to mend, to break, to bend. It’s the leap from the cliffs where courage shakes, It’s diving to save when your heart aches. I’d duel the monsters, I’d wrestle the fears, Face my demons through shattered tears. Fall from the sky, a pain-laced plunge, Sink in the dark, time’s endless grunge. Fire's sharp sting or a thousand teeth, I’d bear it all—for your soul’s relief. The pain is brief, the shadows dim, Compared to the light I’ve found within. Love to the extreme is no passing flame, It’s sacrifice, courage—it’s calling your name. For every terror, for every fight, I’d face the abyss to give you light.
