~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Feathery, brilliant as light, serenity
Unfolding beneath wings, so alive, breathless,
Splendidly rising, wisps of life,
Vibrant halos, softly glowing over the twilight
Reaching the heart, the soul, the spirit,
With hasty prayers, prayed through the melodies,
Rich whispers of grace, abiding and praising,
Soothing away the past with all its shadowy black,
Risking the wind – silence, serenity
Pouring through the soul who knows Him,
The most beautiful truth, the voice of hope,
The feeling that bleeds joy, sings of grace,
Rises to meet the moments – with a sincere faith,
A promise that puts yesterday in its place,
Reminding me that the past has passed…
And I have today, tomorrow and eternity to know the One
Who told me that His love, love so warm – has won
And I can go on because I know the One whose love has born…
A hope within my soul, a faith that never wanes,
Grace that flows down through my heart so that I can feel…
Love that is sure and real – love that will always fulfill, never still,
Love that comes from knowing Jesus, amazing LOVE
Satisfying the worst of us, forgiving the sins that covered us…
In fears, tears and years of muck… so that we can finally see
It is clear,… my soul has been saved by love that will amaze,
Love that sustains – love that is brave – love that truly saves!
