Love Is a Dance
how wonderful it was
when the harpsichord played,
that dance with you was memorable
desired to return to the floor I prayed.
how wonderful it was
when the jute box played
that was quite an enjoyable night
dancing the night away, together we stayed.
how wonderful it was
when the organ played
and you walked down the aisle
I still want to dance with you another decade.
how wonderful it is that aging together can sew
love is mending us for a graceful dance
time that has past has taken our endurance
may we have a waltz and feel that romance
