love is fond gold, to freely give not subject to space nor time treasure of the flowered 60’s we foolishly squandered for a mere nickle and dime….

Hi Anne; spoken like a true warrior. I think, of all that I have touched in life...had privy to embrace, and think myself, if not lord and master, at the least, proud owner...I realize now, pure love, must be free...for it draws-in and nurtures all with little more help than~ to let be. All I want to aspire to...and follow with me, like garment, body and soul of my presence.

Hi Lady: Brought back many memories~ some joyful, some very sad...yet painful. If I said, I would not go back and change some things, could I...it would be a lie. But to say that I do not sickly treasure the sorrow (like an animal caught in trap, and forced to gnaw off its own leg)...then I would be a lie.

Hi Vijay; we thought we knew it all in the 60's, but really were just spinning our wheels in deceit -- smoke made cloudy mirrors. Sad to see so many talented young people yet today, throwing their lives away on drugs. Governments are co-conspirators -- drugged-up, dumbed down is easier to manipulate. Sick. Totally evil -- the karma that visits these political liars when they leave this earth, and become trapped on astral...I would not wish on anybody. Makes Creature-features look tame by horrid comparison.They prepare their own sinful beds. Disbelieving, or simply ignorant of spiritual laws. Blessings my friend.

I would suggest that the hippies version of love (which often equated to unbridled sex) fell far short of the true meaning of agape, the highest form of love. Nice write Joe
