March 12 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Judges 19-21 Key Verse –Judges 21:2 And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WEEPING’S COMFORTER Lord God, You are my weeping’s Comforter toward soul-rejoicing Thank You for bringing me to Your merriment’s praising As I lodge in Your care, and through Your love, arising To draw nigh to You always and grow in Your blessing. Lord God, You are my weeping’s Comforter toward sin-departing Thank You for enabling me to focus on holiness’ setting As I turn from worldliness, unbelief and constant doubting To sojourn in Your worship’s blissful uplifting. Lord God, You are my weeping’s Comforter toward provision-receiving Thank You for granting me satisfaction in my sincere serving As I seek Your peace midst obedience of faith-thriving To hearken to You with humility with heart that’s verily loving. Lord God, You are my weeping’s Comforter toward inheritance-keeping Thank You for counselling me against temptation-trapping As I battle along ministry-involvement stopping To overcome attacks of ceasing in soulwinning and reaping. Lord God, You are my weeping’s Comforter toward grace-arraying Thank You for reviving me against arrogance-slaying As I rely on You with earnestness shown in fervent praying To ascend to stewardship fruitfulness without slothful delaying. Lord God, You are my weeping’s Comforter toward righteous path-walking Thank You for letting me be occupied with heavenly undertaking As I follow Your commandments against covenant-breaking To delight in You, blessed against provision-lacking. Lord God, You are my weeping’s Comforter toward salvation-enriching Thank You for pulling me from carnality-snatching As I seek Your favour while learning from every preaching To live in Your compassion as I do right by Your teaching.
