Look Back Upon Your Life by Robert J (Bob) Moore © 2019 When you look back upon your life, are you happy with what you see did you live life as you wanted, and be what you decided to be did other people choose your path, or did you choose your own and work for what you wanted, as through this life you’ve grown Many do not have the chance, to do just what they may sometimes, others take the lead, and life gets in the way we just take the easy road, where resistance is the least and soon the years have slipped us by, the nature of the beast Before you know it, time has passed, not much road lies before and every day you remember things, and wish you had done more of all the things you could have done, the loving and the living and telling people how you feel, the comfort and the giving But time will wait for no one, make sure your life is full of memories, and ones you love , don’t live a life that’s dull because there is no second chance, to say the things you think laugh and love, and speak your mind, and push life to the brink Then sometime in the future, you can look back and say I may not have been perfect, but I lived life my own way I lived and loved, and danced and sang, and did what I believed I think I can be happy, with the things I have achieved

What a beautiful poem of life Bob. I think sometimes we ponder on the paths we have trod, wondering if it was the right one, but in the big picture, every path has led to precisely where we should be. A wonderful poem....Maria

Thank you Maria, I just wonder sometimes if we chose our own paths, or were persuaded by circumstance and surroundings, but it is probably best not to dwell on that too much.

This has a nice flow to it. Good cadence and provides Great worldly advice. Many of these philosophies are parallel with mine. Thank you for your work, Darrell

Thank you for your comment Darrell, I have read some of yours, it is like reading a book of Limericks (mine) compared with Shakespeare (yours) the difference between a sketch and a masterpiece

Book: Shattered Sighs
