Loneliness
Days turn to nights yet where are you my love
Next to me you sit...
You see not with your heart and you are deaf to my words
Alone to waltz...Loneliness is my companion
An impenetrable barricade stands between us separating our love
Two roads assembled in your view
One long road assures difficulty but in the trees buds bloom with promise of beauty and life
The short road offers the concealment in the darkness, temptations, and sinful delights
Blinded by enticement darkness over shadows the light
Illness in our hearts demolish the goodness
Loneliness saturates my most cherished desires
Desires remain smothered in your hands
Loneliness, release my soul
My tattered heart can take no additional sorrow
Love is but a false promise that tears into one’s being
The fire that once kindled your soul for me is now but glaciers of ice clogging your veins
Death is but a dream compared to the agony of exhausting your affection for me….
