Poor old dandelion never gets much sympathy. Except as children we loved the fluffy crown when it goes to seed...Delice

Delice, your thoughts are always so appreciated. Yes, I can remember picking them and blowing the seeds like bubbles.

Like others I too can picture it standing strong - but then the word dandelion comes from 'Les dents de Lion' - The teeth of the lion which I guess describes its yellow stage. Love nature, words and your haiku Milt :) Cheers - Gary

This is a true observation. The dandelion is standing proud and tall in the large pot at the entrance to my house. Amazing!
