Nursery Rhyme
Children's Short story (Rhyme)
Delicate white feather
Blowing through the breeze,
Lands with a fragile bump
Amongst the Chestnut trees,
Nestling in the foliage
Reflecting autumn's sun,
Beaming in the glory!
Now the only one
Along came little hands
Picked you up carefully,
Tickled her chubby chin
So innocent, care free
With delicate fingers
You were weaved into her hat,
A young voice heard saying
"Feathers are signs of angels
That is a given fact"
Then a sudden gust of wind
Blew the hat up in the air
Excited childlike giggles,
A girl with ruffled hair
Swirling, turning, twirling
Up, Up, Up and away
Delivering signs of hope
To brighten another day
