The Star which led the shepherds to
that miracle so long ago
is what they saw at last to view-
this light of lights unveils its glow.
For there, our Savior Christ was born
to gift that beam which sets us free
to live with grace- awake each morn;
within that light forever be.
And so that Star of Bethlehem
which guided shepherds with their sight
became the promise passed to them;
spread far His Light unveiled that night.
