Liberation
I’ve got the entire day to myself
Just me in a seclusion of jubilee and blowing trees
Resting in the shade, painting words that my lips could not convey
The one thing that possesses me, has a hold of me,
Seems not within arms reach
I try to touch him, yet he still refuses me
Ahh… these days are no longer an escape from Babylon’s insanity
I call this earth a place of fire where reality escapes destiny
Can u talk to me?
Show me the many passage ways until I’m at the crack of your door
And there you stand, a virile man, with so much more
Tell me the secret to the void that is lacking attention
Or will I have to fight off scavengers and put forth my direction?
Say there, are you hip to both pleasure and pain?
Intermingling in ecstasy until we both create rain?
Where we are is a fragile state of mind
Where we should be devotes a certain element of your time
I hear it in the breeze, it’s all around and I can’t even breathe
What would you like me to do with all of this?
Clasp it within my palms and secure it with fists?
Oh, but that certainly isn’t the way to be
Inspiration comes from all sensuality.
