Letter from Pari to her Papa

A father’s place is strong and true Though often hidden from our view While mothers nurture with gentle care A dad’s support is always there. He’s the cornerstone of family His actions teach what love can be A guiding light for all to see But how can he know the way to be If his own father wore a disguise It’s not about blame, but finding the path To build a home filled with love and laughs As women seek their strength and voice We need you here, to stand and rejoice Your presence matters, your heart is key In battles fought, you’re our safety Dear dad, as time goes by Your little girl will watch, and learn to fly How you treat our mother shapes our view Of what a good man should say and do Cherish your role, let your love show In your hands, our future align

You have a rhythmic flow to your poetry. The syntax is key to constructing the ease of that flow. You have that ease. The poem is quaint yet not far from the beautiful intonation and pride you write about. Families should aspire to such truth. Thank you for sharing.
