Let's Car Pool
“Let’s car pool”, said Fred, I said “alright”
Single at the time, didn’t last long
Got married, then my Corvette was gone
Being married, my budget got tight
Saving on gas money just seemed right
It’s a great idea Fred, can’t go wrong
“Let’s car pool”
First trip, Fred’s tiny car was a fright
You don’t just “get-in”, more like “put on”
Fred said, “You’ll “like-it” before long”
I squeezed in, still afraid of my plight
“Let’s car pool”
