Learning Midst Involvement Zest
As student of freedom truth’s glow
My mind seeks wisdom beams to show
Divine presence of counsel light…
You, Lord, can grant by Your grace* might.
Valuing treasured learning gain
My heart allows sharing to reign
Optimizing kindness’ delight…
You, Lord, can grant by Your grace might.
Fully engaged with caring zest
My soul strives for performance-best
Beseeching that love drives my plight…
You, Lord, can grant by Your grace might.
Forgive my selfishness and greed
As I do forget virtues’ creed
Please remind me truths, always right…
You, Lord, can grant by Your grace might.
Involve me** fully, such I pray
In sublime service of blest ray
While reaching-out toward faith’s height…
You, Lord, can grant by Your grace might.
*1Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
**"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." -Benjamin Franklin
