Sand castles we built To live in, Sticks we cut off To frame shootouts Yawning, our trademark In both sun and moon, Responsibility not but nought Worries, a million miles lost That Vile beast, Time Seperating us with the Stings of the dreadful society Defining our reality for us Sand castles we build no more Sticks we cut no more Yawnings, extremely streamlined Responsibilities, self inflicted crosses Turning days of bliss And nights of peace To periods of senselessness Little wonder the creator says "Man's wisdom is foolishness"

"Time - defining our reality for us" - and "self-inflicted crosses" resounded in my head, making this a very wonderful poem in my book.
