Jewels In a Dusk Sky
Idle hours move graciously into the dead of night
When sea waves keep rushing onto the shore
As jewels fall from open skies replenishing
Life’s rivers flowing into me, making me
rich once more!
The scarlet skies bedecked in ruby and gold
Touching the emerald sea in stories told
Clouds bursting out in scarlet orchid blooms
Or was the sky planning to set fire to the moon?
My eyes touched upon the shores of light
Gathering enough jewels to wear tonight
The evening star like a diamond shone
Skies of sapphire wearing a star alone!
The moon bedecked in blazing silver
A silver medallion on a thick black chain
Nature showing me all that she owns
Making me feel rich, sitting on her throne!
