It May Not Seem
it may not seem
to the naked eye
that fire burns
in a stifled cry
that sparks arise
that never fly
that lips without
words
hungrily unpry
in the verdant valley
of unsure thighs
in surrender
of spasmodic cries
did we almost die
were we lovemaking
on that try?
the pong of the ping
and power growing
was that volley singing
the song of our flowing?
do we come when we go
into the core of our hearts
do we reassemble
our orgasmed parts?
fragments of pain
from childhood’s wake
fierce fire
melts them whole
for love’s sake
tears follow rivulets
that laughter makes
as our bodies
paintbrush
this unmarked space
with tongues that
taste
the flavor
of sweet embrace
plunging us into
amazing Grace
ours is the blessing
of passionate peace
wild lovers churned
by Indigo’s feet
steel desire
silk’s caress sweet
we are the fire
where life
and death meet
we are that place
that lives in release
that place called Eden
where the sacred
heart beats.
