Isolation, a continuous cycle

Isolation fills you with guilt Continuing to use the walls that you built Hiding from reality You keep running, continuing to flee Everything you’ve done fills up inside Till you feel like you have no other choice but to hide Doing whatever you can to avoid physical consequence All while your inner struggles are building up a fence The separation between you and the people you’re closest to keeps getting bigger, you’re too confined, you have no clue You keep searching for temporary satisfaction It’s not working, continuing to feel the traction It’s like you're stuck in a continuous loop You can’t stop hiding, it’s like an ongoing hula-hoop You have the idea that you don’t need to tell anyone Because you’re not going to do it anymore you’re sure you’re done But your flesh is too strong, you do it again You pray to God and finish with an honest amen Hoping God will help your hidden heart You’re too stubborn, everything’s once again falling apart
