In the Fields

That night in the fields As the moon hung low Its light among the darkened grass The wind blew cool Playing with the stars as they shone And there In the midsts of their twinkles I saw your face Your love breaking the night Shinning brighter than day I felt peace In your arms Among your words My sanity As I stood in the wake of your shadow You stand tall and proud Of all you done In this life Everyone loves you None more than I do That night In the fields As the moon climbed high Its pale glow fading slowly I found my place And though the stars Twinkled into the light As the sun mounted its horizon I could still see your face Rolling softly in the clouds Making it clear That I will always have a place

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
