In the Depths of the Sea

She was born in the watery deep She knows not how into oxygen seep If she tried she surely would drowned Cuz she's all water where air should be found She is not like any other To take in air she certainly would smother So let her rest here on the ocean floor And pull her not into your future's door. For a friend who suggested I write about the depths of the sea.
