In the Company of Friendship

In the Spring
You are the untouched flowers
That bloom within my youth
Providing colors and hues along
The pathway of my promise
In the Summer
You are the sweltering heat
The fire of my desire and synergy
The sun at its crest of strength
The passion in my moment
In the Fall
You are the changing stillness
That melts the vigor of my intensity
Inspiring me to fade from the trees
That stand rooted molting in timelessness
In the Winter
You are the refuge for my emptiness
The harbor of my yearning that whispers
Hushed by the icy fingers of fate
marooned in isolating winds
You are the sweet pureness of friendship
Where in the fates that I suffer or seek
You liberate my consequences with truth
For who I am you will always be with me
So I will never walk alone and always find my home
