I Wandered Lonely As a Sailboat
I wandered lonely as a sailboat in the sea,
the sky was blue above me, the land was far,
I felt the soothing breeze, my mind was free
tiny ripples around the boat, calm was the water.
my whole life flashed in front of my eyes,
a dolphin jumped in close to me - what a surprise!
A cheerful dolphin circled around,
it was such a fascinating sight to see,
I was mesmerized with what I found,
The dolphin playfully following me.
I couldn't believe my eyes, what I saw
How majestic was he, I was in total awe!
our rendezvous lasted for an hour,
never enjoyed the ocean like this,
my mind was engrossed to see his power,
it was an exceptional moment of bliss.
whenever I am pensive and alone
I long to see my sirenic friend unknown.
