I know you from where we cannot be known yet or I may not remember Places I don’t look you stand in corners and speak with passion I am lost on black asphalt light lines dash and you burst past You swim in mirages emerge a ghost a sparrow invisible I can not tell where you are we travel too far down the spiral staircase There is a memory, a frame you fit there, or walk away and I forget it is you *** July 2, 2017 Copyright © Darren White

That is one way to explain yes, you come close. It's a sort of déjà vu experience, where you get to see a glimpse of yourself from time to time, descending into your own depths, but it is elusive.
