I Still Remember
I know you from
where we cannot be known
yet or I may not remember
Places I don’t look
you stand in corners
and speak with passion
I am lost on black asphalt
light lines dash
and you burst past
You swim in mirages
emerge a ghost
a sparrow invisible
I can not tell where you are
we travel too far down
the spiral staircase
There is a memory, a frame
you fit there, or walk away
and I forget it is you
