"Snowflakes are kisses from heaven."

From writer _ Frida Kirkerge's, Book

I breathe snow ... in the forest where winter twilight is dense and full and the sky falls to a shadow as trees and ground blend and mingle ebbing into vagueness the path is wet beneath my feet and little frills of ice adorn things crystalline, frosty and filigree then, suddenly the air is full of snowflakes enchanting and fragile snow has come to be my beloved and I am left breathless with snow floating among the trees as I feel a sweet touch on my hair and on my cheeks with no sound except for a silent kiss I stand still in snows loving embrace in a frozen world quiet and tranquil except for my beloved whispering snow drifting, floating, hovering I whisper, I love you . . . but I know he will leave soon and become but another memory lost

I enjoy this verse. It has very lonely overtones. Fusing with snow seems to be a neutral escape from reality. Good luck with the contest. Your poem is enchanting.

Love this one Constance. Snow has a calming soothing affect on the soul magnified with its beauty of of majestic white floating down in droplets of parachuting armies of beauty and amazement. For a while and it leaves and is, "but a memory Lost." Conveying sadly all good things come to an end. Wonderful poetry by you today Constance. Thank you for sharing and a big Hug for you...
