I Am A Writer

If I wasn’t a writer. I’d still be hardworking. I’d still be funny. I’d still be kind. Be also… I’d still be jealous. I’d still be crazy. I’d still be a mess. But as a writer, I’m a little less embarrassed by all that. I’m a little more proud of the good. When I write, I learn. When I write, the kind things they say to me become true. Even when I take a break… When I’m depressed, Or carefree. I can always go back to being a writer. If I wasn’t a writer, I would never know, That I am a wondrous person.
