How It All Still Hinges On Or
How dare you, making this about versus!
I take no position among fillets.
In fact, I defend the ground between us.
For that I must verse you, though I would anyways.
To plainly put all our lives on a fence,
That neither you nor I will go,
Or might we both as independent events –
I see that you also know.
It’s not fair to tangle my mechanical thinking,
O’er the likelihood of being taken by naught.
My dreams are fading, my hopes are sinking,
And look what you brought. ====(==)
Beneath us avails our mirrored pond,
Having more, by doing less, and yes, the ignore.
To power your craft, looking on and beyond,
To have the last laugh, whether rich ever poor.
This is why I will not squirm, nor cry,
By saying ugly things that lack certain approach,
And form metaphorical patterns that fully lie,
And then surrender when it's time to encroach.
Or, not.
