Hooked
Touching your cheek with my finger tips,
Holding your face with my hands.
The subtle brush when our lips connect,
Is almost more than I can stand.
The aching, longing for more of you,
Every whisper of your name.
The breeze through the trees calls for me,
I pretend it's you, but it's not the same.
Feeling your warm hand holding mine,
I hold it tight, and never let go.
Forever scared you'll slip through my fingers,
Like sand, you're gone. Nothing to show.
The in captivating hold from your gaze,
The feeling of love from just one look.
How do you have this hold on me?
You can read me like an open book.
All this emotion whilst I dream at night,
Lucid and real in this astro plane.
The girl in my dreams comes to me,
Without you, my life wouldn't be the same.
