Honoring My Wild Side
Oh, wild side of me.
Pushing me to face my fears.
Skydiving was
the new adventure.
Day before the jump,
butterflies in the stomach.
I woke up several times.
I jumped over and over in my mind.
Concentrating on my breathing;
It kept me relaxed.
It's now or never!
Said, my wild side.
I literally putted myself,
in the hands
of God’s
and my instructor’s.
Things were not as I had imagined.
It was not a great fall into the void,
somehow the winds hold us up.
I felt like a bird for a few minutes.
What an incredible feeling
of freedom and peace.
Especially, when the parachute opens.
Beautiful view from above.
I honor my wild side,
It empowers me.
Fills me with self-confidence.
Test passed.
