Holiday Cheer
A year has passed and the time is here,
To spread the joyful holiday cheer.
Buying gifts and decorating trees,
Sending packages of meats and cheese.
Everyone’s become so cheerful and sweet,
They say “hello” as you pass on the street,
And come to you house and sing lullabies,
Bake cookies and cake and really sweet pies.
Then on that night we sit and wait
Eat and drink and stay up late.
On the next morning we’re wild and crazy,
Been running so much things are hazy.
Then we go back to the same ole routine,
Just seems like a well oiled machine.
