Heaven's Gate
I don't really know if I'm amazed
Or is this really the way it's to be
We're behaving worse than ever before
Since we came down from the trees
One doesn't have to look yonder
For mayhem seems to abound
Maybe it's time to stay indoors
To await the coming whistling sounds
As we humans berate these whistles
Apologies, but time doesn't wait
Lets appreciate our inevitable
For we won't be at Heaven's Gate.
