You hurt me literally and figuratively, I will crumble. I sustain life in humanity physically and emotionally. If I stop working mankind would cease to exist. Keep me healthy and I will flourish. Treat me with care and I will bless you. Try to break me and you will suffer. The connection between us will fail. You will be physically and emotionally scarred. It will take a while to fix me.
