He Was Addled

Numpty Dumpty sat on a wall, his brain, addled. Not thinking, he turned and had a fall, in the King's castle courtyard he puddled. All the Kings men on horses saddled, got off their steeds and in Humpty dabbled. One took his coat, well it was silver, the rest took his bits, thinking themselves clever in trying to put Humpty back together. Of course, they failed, but never say never, they melted him down, now he's gone forever. More than one way of putting things back together. Hot chocolate for tea break and a rhyme to remember.

I think Numpty Dumpty sounds better than Humpty Dumpty actually. Imaginative and fun.
