Time passed He said He'd come back soon Counting by forty And by the moon While He was gone Little they knew He would come back His word was true Did set out the chosen twelve To look for Him Best place to start in Bethlehem One carried wine The other bread John knew His favorite pillow To lay His head Mark led them with the keenest eye There was no need For those to ask Him why..
