Have You Ever

Have You Ever Had dreams about your Past so vivid and real You woke up and Thought you were back there Have You Ever Panicked at the thought Of Setting Foot Outside Even Though You Know That You're Perfectly Safe Have You Ever Felt Your Heart Start Racing So Bad I Felt Like It Skipped A Beat You Start To Hyperventilate All Because A Single Tear Streaked Down Your Cheek Have You Ever Felt So Much Pain Yet You Don't Dare Show It Because It's Your Duty To Be Strong For Everyone Else Have You Ever Had Holes In Your Memory From Something You Can't Control Remembering All The Bad Things Wishing You Could Remember All The Good And Forget The Bad Have You Ever Lost So Many Loved Ones You Find It Difficult To Open Your Heart To Anyone New At Least I Know I'm Not Alone There Have You Ever Watched The Light Go Out In Someone's Eyes Sat With Them So They Wouldn't Be Alone When They Died Have You Ever Had A Suicide Pact With Your Best Friends Then Broke It When One Of Them Successfully Brings Their Life To An End Then Years Later You Find The Other One Has Followed Suit And You're Left All Alone Wondering Why What Could I Have Done Did I Do Something Wrong Picking Up The Pieces And Planning The Funeral On Your Own Have You Ever Felt Like You Just Wanted To Run And Hide Escape From Reality Even If It Had To Be In Your Own Mind Have You Ever Been Called A Freak Of Nature So Many Times You Started Believing It To Be True Have You Ever It Sounds Like A Drinking Game Yet It's Not And I Don't Drink However If It Were And I Did The Cards Would Be Stacked Against Me And I Would Be Well Past Tuned Because Everything On Here Has Been Part Of My Life Some Past A Lot Present Hopefully Not Future By: Jean Bonella March 25 2023
