Happy Communion

If Shakespeare was alive today To see how our love has thrived Then Romeo & Juliet, Would not have been derived. He would take just one glance At the way I look at you; Then tell at that distinctive moment “Matrimony, `tis seen here true!” Without having to vacillate He wrote an exquisite play Just from a simple glance He acquired upon this day. Now, if he could perceive our love From obtaining a single view, Then on this day of happy bliss I’ll forever say, “I do.”
