Habits
That ain’t me
That ain’t me
I’ve got habits, I can’t beat
You ain’t one
Hit the street
I’ve got a habit
That ain’t you , guess it’s me
Yeah it’s me
I’ve got a habit of staying at home
Scrollin all night
and
Texting on the phone
but not to you though
Because you ain’t my habit no more
Not no more!
So what or who’m I going to do?
What’m I going to wear?
Should I cut, straighten, dye or
curl my hair?
That ain’t the habit
I mean, I keep it clean
But I’m only reading
I ain’t in the magazines
I got some habits and they’re not you
Not enough time too much to do
I’m making a lot of habits baby
But not a one of them is you
Leave me be
That ain’t me
That ain’t me
Keep it moving
Let me be
Stop making me your habit
I told you quit/(that s) bothering me
and leave me be.
I’m not goin to tell anybody
How I think they should see me
Instead I’ll just keep
This one habit I have
Of just being me!
Diet soda
Bubblegum
Pickin my nose
I know it sounds snotty
Man everyone does
My feet are bare and dirty
And sometimes I still suck my thumb
I got habits
I’ve got a habit and it ain’t you
I got a habit of singing the blues
Go and find another habit
Get something else to do
That ain’t me.
That ain’t me
That ain’t me
I’ve got habits I can’t beat
You ain’t one hit the street
I’ve got a habit
It ain’t you cause it’s me
Yeah it’s me
