Goodbye My Friend Till We Meet Again
In the school, we played together.
The celebration of life we lived together.
All the years yearning for a better life.
You were the true treasure of our life.
That we will never take it for a ride.
Goodbye, our dear friend.
Though the magical hand of God came early,
But we always loved you dearly.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
Forever shall we miss that part of you,
And sing how graceful you were.
Goodbye, our dear friend.
Your love and compassion is still our guide.
Your world is as tall as your soul is wide.
Wherever you wonder, you will find us there,
In our heart, you remain the rose,
So, shall we keep our prayers in your absence.
Goodbye, our dear friend.
I wish I had a book of life in my hands.
I wish I could give you more years.
I wish I could erase all our tears.
I wish I could whisper to you in your ears,
And tell you how kind you were.
Goodbye, our dear friend.
You left us in a sorry and emotional state.
We are wounded our dear friend.
We know it wasn’t your time.
We know you hadn’t finished the race,
But we shall always treasure you.
Goodbye, our dear friend.
We know we’ll never see you again,
But we shall rejoice in memories you gave us,
Through all the years you walked with us,
The pain and tears you took from us,
We shall always remember you as one of us.
Till we meet again in the serenity of our Lord.
Goodbye, our dear friend.
