Golden Tears And Memories
GOLDEN TEARS & MEMORIES
Aged & worn, in a car, emotions to the brim,
He sits alone, where light grows dim.
Whispers of the past through silence, swim,
Golden tears fall, as memories steam.4
Once, laughter filled this space,
Her smile, a radiant grace.
Together, they’d embrace each place,
In love's endless race, like a fervent chase.8
But fate, in its cruelty, abrupt pace,
Took her from their shared embrace.
A car, their dreams did efface,
Leaving him in this stagnant space.¹²
Through streets they roamed, young & free,
Now, he drives alone, where shadows flee.
Each corner, every turn, a memory,
Of a love that was, and will forever be.¹6
The golden tears, they fall, not in vain,
For each drop, a memory, sweetly sane.
In his heart, her love will always remain,
A gentle, soothing, constant refrain.²°
His old car, a vessel of the past,
Moves forward, as shadows are cast.
But in his soul, where love is vast,
She solemnly sit still, their love to outlast.²4
Through the tears, a fragile look appears,
Although in his loss, love perseveres.
Golden memories, through the years,
A testament to love, despite the fears.²8
An old man, a car, and memories dear,
Together, they traverse, year by year.
In golden tears, love draws near,
A journey of the heart, crystal clear.³²
