Going To Sleep Poem
as i go to bed,
i lay down my little head
so many dreams in my mind,
if they were real
i would be blind,
my thoughts go wild
when i am asleep.
dreams of places
and people i meet,
so deep in thought
drives my mind wild
am even a skydiver
trying to scratch a pile,
so many dreams
and funny things to
even dreamed
i was a shoe,
smilling away
while being asleep
wonder how far
my mind goes deep,
then woke up with such a fright
my robe came to me in middle o night
jumped up on my bed
a spring nearly went in my head,
such a shock this was to me,
so big a shock a nearly peed
was a dreaming or is it real
dont really know as can not feel
my hands are down between my legs
not what your thinking
am praying am not dead,
how do you stop crazy dreams
if you have answer
please say to me,
am not flying nor off ma head
am not from killie or on smack instead
just so funny on what we think,
o my god
i just farted and what a stink,
glad my head is not under cover,
as smells so bad a dont know what to do
as thought in my room
a cow went moo,
so now here i am and wide awake
trying to sleep and not dream again,
as my dreams are o so mad
if the men in white coats heard
i would see a padded pad,
going to try once again,
going to sleep on my single bed,
no springs on mattress are sticking through
and my robe is standing to,
never again will a dream again,
with crazy things in my head,,
