Goin' Granny
Written By: D. Collins 1/23/25
When all is said and done, I do what I do good.
Prevent any MF'z trying to keep us in the hood.
I have something to say and will lay it on the line.
Inject that feisty little woman who now lurks in my spine.
I'm going Straight Up Granny, exhibiting my best.
Ensuring no MF will have a foot in my chest.
I growl like a lion, ready to get at his meat.
Putting holes in the prey I am ready to eat.
Granny would get revenge within the confines of the law.
She'd take it to the very limit of getting downright raw.
She took her enemies down with dignity and grace.
Then, grabbed a hand full to just rub in their face.
I'm going out like Granny who never bowed down.
She taught ig'nant peeps like me how to wear a Crown.
She put family first up until her last day.
And, when I roll out, put that on my grave.
