Give Me Five Minutes
Give me five minutes to face all the facts. The notes on the fridge of not coming back. A half-track of slow turns in a glance for a gone. Next to a “shelter” and “give me” a song. All or a nothing for the grip in no gain. Less in the lessons like you’ll remember my name. For with the maybe’s and Me there with You. “Bye” and a “See Ya!” with a vail for a view. Give me the whether plus the view on a screen. Like rain for no reason and the wind looks real mean. It’s time for a tick tock and around for a sigh. Next to the fives of a finger goodbye. Give me a minute with the how on a hill. Past the post by the beckon and for borders, the bill. Give me an answer in a not or a loose. Five for the facts in a no for the chose. Give me a gamble and the bet’s in the clear. Five for the reasons of Why you’re not here. Give me five minutes and the face is the facts. Gone with the minutes in I’ll not get you back.
