Friends For a Day, Strangers Forever

Wind torn faces, feeling cold Venture out if you feel bold Never do what you are told Its snowing once again People talk, Oh the weathers bad Hoarding food, are people mad It must be the worst we have ever had Theyre talking once again I wish the train would arrive soon Ive booked my holiday I go in June I know lets all sing a tune The trains cancelled once again Oh its so cold, have you far to go My dad said it was going to snow Its more than Fish and Kettley know Cameraderie once again Four hours it took to get home last night You would think someone would get it right At last, I think the train is in sight Blame British Rail again The mighty thaw, the snow all clears The people smile, the nation cheers The new found friends dont talk for years Were strangers once again
