Friday Saturday Someday
Friday Saturday someday, one second
Will multiply into infinity & infinity into
Eternity.
In between sapphire & ruby sunset.
Friday Saturday someday, my name
Will sound different dangling from your lips
& I won’t be far.
A constant thought ready to appear in urgency.
Suddenly ready to appear again.
Friday Saturday someday, I’ll stare down
Into your eyes & you’ll look back up into mine.
Traveling down the mountain of goosebumps
On your skin.
Difference of height is of no consequence,
Small rumbles that equate to tectonic plates.
The way your lips cover mine.
The urge to run high, the need to rush
At an all-time high.
Friday Saturday someday, one second
Will multiply into infinity & infinity into
Eternity.
My name will sound different dangling from
Your lips &
I’ll be buried deep, beneath the mountain
Of your skin
