Freedom
I am the banner planted on the hill,
Twisting and flapping in the breeze.
I am the pale bird following the ship,
Over blue waves and swelling seas.
I am rain falling on the growing corn,
The music that makes people dance.
I am the open book, the tree in leaf,
The honesty of pure romance.
I am a star that shines in velvet night,
A mystery preserved alone.
Your world is as it is, no more, no less,
You know my name - but seek your own.
Preserve integrity and Freedom’s rules,
Keep them from cradle to the grave:
Value humanity and nature - above all,
Call no man master, no man slave.
