For Every Child
It's not the way you gaze upon me
Nor with whom do I compare
There is a chance that I might fail you
Lose all hope, fall in despair
Away you have not turned
Left me alone, empty inside
For every child that you have made
You toiled and forged with such great pride
Each unique
Surely not perfect
That is the nature of your plan
I realize how much I need you
Your life without, I would not stand
