For Ama George

I heard today You were no longer With us My heart sunk I had hoped one day To see you again Your brilliant smile Your chuckle Your calm exterior My thoughts of you Were always On Sunday morning Your walk by At the Mission house In Damongo Always regal Your tall neck Your side glances My sister From another mother What happened I weep As I write this Who will weep with me

What a wonderful tribute to this loved one. Someday you may know what happened and wish you hadn't. That's the way with "news". Some is best unread. Thank you for sharing this with all of us on the soup. oldbuck
