I had the haiku idea about the snowflakes this morning.  Arriving at work I came up with two other versions that start and end the same but have entirely different meanings and nuances

flurries of snowflakes
seem to be lighter than air
defy gravity
flurries of snowflakes
living to float on the air
defy gravity
flurries of snowflakes
yearning to reach for the sky
defy gravity

Very nice! We didn’t get even one snowflake this year. Even when I visited my grandkids in Minnesota for Christmas! What in the world!
