First Love

The time when I was in school I could be considered a fool My youth had just begun Love was a word I could use on just anyone Every beautiful girl I saw Pursuing her was an unwritten law. That is when I met her And felt that she was the one for me I was the lock and she my key Yet when I told her about it She didn't deem me fit Told me we should split Split and not be friends anymore And I just stood there looking at the floor Today regret is what I feel Because I still see her in my dreams All the cakes and ice creams We could have shared But she never cared I still miss her As my love for her was true and forever.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
