Finding My Strength
Starry Eyed
Then One Day
Cast Aside
There we were, standing still
Then you break the silence
This would be our last thrill
You moved on without me
Was I supposed to know
That you had set me free?
I didn't feel the freedom, but instead
I sat up late at night, all alone
My insides coiled up and deep in dread
How would I go on and face the day
Without you in my life, by my side
I must find the strength to break away
I'm not a victim, I will prevail
This will just become a memory
I am not a cautionary tale
